The Church of Immanuel

Pastor John W Lucas III is a dynamic messenger of the Good News of Jesus Christ. His style presents itself in such a way that individuals are captivated by the presentation. Currently his messages are heard around the world through various means of communication.

Pastor John W Lucas III is a third generation preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For the past 10 years he has been the Senior Pastor at the Church of Immanuel. This is the church that his Grandfather inaugurated in 1948, and which his father subsequently pastored for 40 years.

The Church of Immanuel is a growing inner city church in the heart of downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Its mission is to "win, build, equip and release people for Jesus Christ so that communities everywhere may be impacted". Through the many local community outreaches as well as its emphasis on world missions the world is being changed one life at a time.
